• Over a decade of professional event planning experience: Most recently as the Senior Director of Convenings at The Obama Foundation and oversaw the Grand Opening events for the Obama Presidential Center. I lead a team that ran large-scale events around the world like annual Democracy Forums as well as medium and small scale programmatic in-person training programs.

• Robust Coaching and Management Experience: Lead dozens of teams, built departments from the ground up, and directly managed over 100 staff throughout my career. No matter what role I was in managing and investing in my direct reports was always the highest priority.

• Company Retreat Planning: Held full time position on the People team leading company retreats focused on highly experiential learning and culture building. Supported over a dozen staff retreats logistically and programmatically at the Obama Foundation.

What's not on my resume is the many, many life celebrations I have lead and planned. From wedding and baby showers to bachelorette parties and birthdays, I've done (and loved!) them all. If any friends or family are hosting an event I'm usually the first person they call.

The through line in everything I have done and continue to do is community building. Companies run better and people live better lives when they are a part of a community.
